I Booked an Appointment! What Should I Do Next?
Preparing for your session: • Moisturize: Start moisturizing the tattoo area at least 5 days before your appointment, twice a day, to keep your skin healthy and ready. • Rest well: A good night’s sleep before your session will help with pain tolerance and overall mood. • Eat and hydrate: Have a full meal and drink plenty of water beforehand. Bringing snacks and water to your appointment is also recommended. • Entertainment: Headphones, a book, or a small blanket can make your session more comfortable and help pass the time. • Dress comfortably: Wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Avoid clothes you don’t want stained, as tattoo ink is difficult to remove. • Bring your ID: You must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo.
